Every once in a while you come across people that really stand out. I mean, they just have the ability to capture you. You want to follow them, to know more about them and what they do, and HOW they do it. Rob and Kim Murgatroyd from JetsetLife.tv are these types of people.
Even though they are married, have a family and run their own businesses online, the couple still find time to spend a chunk of the year traveling to some of the most exotic and ‘new rich’ destinations in the world.
In today’s VBL Podcast, myself, Rob and Kim discuss amongst other things:
- What started their awesome adventure of discovery and travel.
- A funny story from an alcohol-infused evening on a scooter in Europe!
- How they plan for their extended trips maticulously (sometimes taking months), to make sure they have the absolute best time possible.
- The way they capitalize on their travels by creating top-notch passive income products.
- Why they shoot their travel videos and created their ‘Secret List’.
- Plus much, much more…

What this couple get up to is what a lot of married people just dream about. The fact that they truly are living the lifestyle they want to, on their terms, is inspiring to say the least. You’ll enjoy this interview, everyone – and watch the video if you can – the interaction between us all, visually, makes for much more enjoyable viewing!

Chris, I hate you!
Well actually I don’t, but you churn these awesome interviews out so frequently I’m behind with listening to them.
Another quality resource which I’m bookmarking for later download.
Cheers, Matthew
Hahaha. Got me worried then for a minute!
Glad you’re enjoying.
Actually, after this one they will be posted bi-weekly. I’ve been a little ‘quick’ releasing them recently, as I had such an awesome backlog in the can, so to speak, and simply didn’t want to hold onto them any longer – they had to get out there.
The next one is with Leo Babauta from ZenHabits on the topic of ‘Blogging – Getting Started, and Making it WORK!’. You’ll love it.
Thanks for the feedback, mate.

@ Matthew,
Kim and I couldn’t agree more. Chris is a total pro and becoming quite good at this. Must be all the time off now that he’s broken free as a virtual CEO!
Best,
rob
Hey Rob!
Thanks for dropping by, brother… and for the kind words.
And thanks again for the interview and the special offer for the JetSetMoney program. Great stuff!
Catch ya soon – regards to Kim.

Chris, this was truly amazing! I love travelling (going to Paris with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day!) and this was awesome to listen to. Fair play to Rob & Kim for creating a wonderful lifestyle for themselves.
I’m almost watering at the mouth with what’s in store! Leo Babauta’s interview will be epic
Hi Stu
Great couple and a great lifestyle. I enjoyed doing the interview, as you can tell. We had a lot of fun, right from the start with the Boogie Nights reference!!!
Thanks for the feedback, bud.
Leo’s is equally cool and entertaining, it also includes a section of is talk at Blogworld, too!

Really enjoyed this interview. I exchanged a few emails with Rob is the past and he is really a down to earth guy. Love watching his videos on JetSetLife.tv and can’t wait till season 2.
Hi T
Yep, both Rob and Kim are very nice and very much the real deal. I like their videos too. High quality, great audio and the out-takes are brilliant….!!!
Thanks for stopping by, my man.

Hi Kim
Thanks for dropping by… Yep – was a great chat, I had a hoot with you guys!
Thanks for the additional tip, too… Is ever in Paris, I’ll be sure to check it out…
Keep rockin’, you guys!
C
That was a very inspiring interview, really loved it. I wish you would have touched on if they had regular jobs, and when they left them and made the switch for their dreams!
Thanks for the comment, and kind words, Keith.
Good points you bring up there… Drop a tweet to them @jetsetlife, I’m sure either Rob or Kim will be happy to answer your questions…
Glad to see another VBL Podcast newbie commenting. Dont be a stranger!
C
Heavens to Murgatroyd!!!
Hehehe.
Thats funny.
As a Kiwi it was cool to see Rob wearing a New Zealand teeshirt. Go All Blacks for RWC 2011!
The Jetset Life guys are killer good fun.
Rob has become ripped to shreds following this video (he was in good shape anyway, I believe). But, their new product ‘Jet Set Body’ is going to rock!
Glad you enjoyed the chat, Brendon.

What an enjoyable interview guys (and Kim)!
I remember Rob & Kim’s site being one of the first resources I started following before the whole “location independent” thing really started to gain popularity. First it was just the “regular working people” who packed their bags and hit the road.. now the CEO’s have got the bug too! What’s next?!
Hey, if you ever want to try something very different and don’t fear a bit of cold, give me a call if you ever get to Finland and we’ll take a tour on some bit cooler (literally!) “jet setting spots”!
Have a great trip to Cartagena and stay safe!
Cheers!
Juha
Hey Chris,
Amazing interview with Rob and Kim and wow, they surely have some very cool and funny stories to share man! LOL
I was checking out their sites a few days ago and they surely have a lot more products out there, I thought it was just about traveling, good to know they focus on other niches as well.
Cheers and again, great job on the interview. I caught a few laughs myself
