Coming Soon… The New Virtual Business Lifestyle Line-Up!

Coming Soon

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been hinting at a few changes here at the blog (all good, I assure you!), and I’m happy to say that the redesign of the site (and pretty much everything else we’ve been working on) is almost done. I’ve been working very hard with my team of graphics and development people to try and create a new VBL that we can all be proud of.

This year has been phenomenal, in regards to the feedback that I have received from all the VBL fans and followers. I never would have thought that when I published that first post, back in January 2010, that we would be at the beginning of creating such an awesome community of like-minded entrepreneurs that want to live a more freedom-based lifestyle, with business as a focus—but, not the ONLY focus!

All to the tune of over 10,500+ loyal readers monthly.

I’ve read every comment posted here on the blog, and replied to almost all of them. I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed conversing with you via Twitter and, of course, our VBL Facebook page, too. The changes being made are going to continue to help grow the VBL brand, and what it stands for—and some of the changes are super cool..!

All About the Content, Baby!

First up, we are going to make the homepage of the blog an all-out content fest! From just one page you’ll be able to check out the latest post, as well as the latest posts in all four of the “VBL Core4″ concept categories of Entrepreneurship, Passive Income, Outsourcing, and Super Mobility.

You’ll also be able to check out the Most Popular posts, as well as the five most recent VBL Podcast episodes, too.

There will also be a full blown category listing, too, so you can dig deep into the archives of the blog to get your hands on all that slightly older, but just-as-juicy content from the last year.

Plus, tons more!

New Site, New Subscription Sign-Up Bonus!

This past month I have had the pleasure of recording four awesome, very exclusive videos with thought leaders within the realm of the “VBL Core4″. These videos are packed full of ‘must have’ material for the VBL enthusiast. They are concise, to the point, and highly, highly informative. They will not be available anywhere online, and only to subscribers of the VBL blog… in other words, those serious enough about creating an entrepreneurial lifestyle they will love to live, to part with an email address (even if it isn’t their primary one!).

I will be releasing full details on the contents, and the experts involved, in the first week of January 2011.

If you are already a subscriber of the VBL, fear not, you do not miss out—I will be providing all of you a link, via email, so you can get your hands on all four of these exclusive videos.

The Journey of the VBL Podcast

When I first started recording the podcast episodes, I didn’t really know what I was wanting to produce, to be honest! However, I did know that I wanted to put together informative content, that would help people, and perhaps give them a laugh along the way.

According to your feedback, emails, and tweets, I’ve certainly been able to do that. To date, I’ve had almost 15,000 episode downloads! Wow! Plus, it continues to rank in the Top 3 for all of its major keywords.

Thank you for all the support and for making the VBL Podcast so incredibly successful this past 6 months or so. I have been genuinely humbled by the comments I’ve received, and sincerely promise to continue to produce the best podcast content I can going into next year.

And coming up in January we have some absolutely awesome interviews coming your way including Leo Babauta from Zen Habits, Jordan Cooper from Not a Pro Blog, Maren Kate from Escaping the 9-5, and Eric & Seth of Frugal Theme fame, to name, literally, just a few. A big ‘thank you’ to all of you who have subscribed to the podcast via iTunes particularly, you continue to inspire me with your support by continuing to download each and every episode. You rock!

My Up-Coming Products & Services

I will also be launching a few products next year, related to the VBL. I’m super excited about these as they have been in the works for a while already… I’m not going to give out too many details right now, but I can promise you they will be extremely high in quality, be well worth the little money I attach to them, in the form of a price tag, and most importantly, they will ALL be focused on creating a virtual lifestyle that you’ll love to live—for many, many reasons!

I will also be caving in to quite a bit of demand and putting together and launching a few different consultancy services. They will basically be focusing around the topics of how to set-up virtual businesses, the in’s and out’s of working with virtual staff, and how to get more bang for your buck whilst doing so, as well as entrepreneurial brainstorming in general. I’m very much looking forward to working with awesome entrepreneurs ready to take their dreams and aspirations to the next level in 2011. More details in January.

So, there you have it, a short update on everything that will be taking place at the VBL Blog going into next year.

I intend to have the new version of the site, and its other online entities up and running on January 3rd, where I will be holding an awesome competition to kick off the year, where you will all have the chance to win one of my own, personally managed Virtual Assistants for a period of one month—absolutely free of charge (usually a $1,250 monthly cost!). So stay tuned in the meantime.

  1. Hey Chris, congratulations on the success you’ve achieved so far this year. I think you demonstrate a couple of times in this article, one of the key attributes of an entrepreneur and that it is ‘just do it’. When you started you didn’t know what kind of following you were going to get and when you started your podcasts you had no idea what they were going to cover. This is what sets entrepreneurs, they take action!

Keep up the good work Chris and all the very best for yoru site re-launch.
