When Viperchill.com founder Glen Allsopp set-up his heart-stoppingly good blog, not even he thought it would become as successful as it has, in the short space of time that its been online – even though he has had several other storming online successes. He did, however, have one very clear goal in mind – create the absolute BEST content available for his readers. Mission, without a doubt – Accomplished!
This conversation could have gone on for a lot longer than it did, I can tell you.
The way that Glen is so easy going with giving up his excellent knowledge in regards to online and viral marketing is a great gift – a gift that makes him a lot of money, exactly how much, we don’t know – but, it is enough to allow him to live in various locations around the world, and enjoy life to the maximum. We like that here at Virtual Business Lifestyle!
In this episode of the VBL Podcast, myself and Glen discuss, amongst other points:
- How he started out online, and why he went ‘full-time’ on his own.
- How he automates as much of his daily tasks to outsourced staff as possible.
- Why he puts in so much effort on his blog, even though he doesn’t make a lot of money from it.
- The most common misconception that people have when it comes to making money online.
- How he comes up with the ideas behind his own marketing and niche building.
- Much, much more!

Glen makes it sound so, so easy to get going in the realm of online marketing and making money on the internet. What I loved about this interview more than anything else is that he is genuinely a super nice guy, and very relaxed when he talks about the web and the earning opportunities out there. A real breathe of fresh air.

What I love about Glen, more than anything, is that he is so ‘free’ with his info. There is also a great interview with him on Pay Flynn’s blog, too! Check it out.

intro music sounded like the backing track to a swirling pimp afro ghetto fast food chicken commercial
glen is legend. good friend of mine and full real deal. true story.
so funny how your voice sounds like it’s being strained through a robot’s underpants whenever i hear it seep through my headphones.
hear it all the time but hearing you say that you’ve been focusing mainly on creating content instead of all the glitsy background twitter etc stuff was power. think the other stuff just procrastination bleh.

Hey Chris,
What an absolutely excellent and refreshing podcast to listen to! Thanks so much for taking the time to share this interview with us.
Glen is simply and all-round A+ guy and an awesome marketer! what he has accomplished in his very few years of adulthood is remarkable.
I’ve been a fan of his since my first day of blogging. Actually, the first email I ever sent out to a fellow blogger was to Glen and I cannot tell you how helpful his reply was – very generous with his feedback and information. He also came across as a very down to earth chap – and continues to be just that. He is indeed an inspiration.
Every time I read one of his insightful and straight forward posts on ViperChill, I become even more motivated to make something of my blog.
Great idea for a post!
Cheers
Nice interview Chris. Glen’s been a source of inspiration when building out niche sites so it was good to learn more about his experiences and perspective.
Yeah, I know, I’m behind on the podcasts, but… Exactly WHICH ebook were you talking about in this podcast…the one Glen slapped together for his friends, then later refined based on his friends’ questions?
