Why I Want to be a Virtual CEO (Part 2 of 3)

Location: The Beach, Cebu – Reading / Viewing Time: 4mins

So, here we are with the second part in my short, but sweet three-part series of videos on why I want to be a Virtual CEO. In the last clip I discussed being location independent, which basically means I will be able to work from anywhere, any time I like. The goal here is to make it as seamless as possible, however, so nobody even knows I’m traveling, etc.

In this clip I talk about something that, as a true entrepreneur, I do definitely struggle with. And thats being able to act on some of the ideas and plans I put down on paper, be able to expand my business portfolio, and diversify my earning potential as a business owner. So many ideas, so little time…!

The deadline for my goal to become a Full-Time Virtual CEO is the end of this year, and is fast approaching. I must make sure that I remain focused on it, to be able to start living the lifestyle that both myself and my family deserve and desire.

I’ll be back on Friday with the last video of this short series which will include the final and the most important reason behind wanting to become a Virtual CEO – you simply shouldn’t miss it!

In the meantime, why not download my free eBook “Saving the Day, the Virtual Way” to get to know what I’m all about a little more, as well as some tips on working with Virtual Assistants, too.

Hope you enjoy todays post, and I look forward to hearing from you in the comments below – just be nice, okay! :-)

  1. This is one of the bigges problems I have Chris. As a budding Entrepreneur whose currently working a full time job it’s really a challenge for me to follow through on all the ideas I have.

What’s your current strategy for following through on ideas Chris, once you’ve written them down? Taking in to consideration time restraints.

    • Hi Ben

You have to prioritize things, man. Somethings are going to be a little more ‘timely’ than others. Like, I am about 50% through an eBook/Video Course right now. But, I have put it on hold to finalize my new VA service, which will launch in a week or so hopefully – because I feel the market needs it more.

One thing you certainly should NOT do is work on any more than two projects at the same time. You’ll burn out. Plain and simple.

What are you struggling with more than anything else, exactly…?

      Chris

      • I Think the problem at the moment Chris is my work is taking up a very part of my attention and at the same time I’m trying to work on a couple of different projects. Your advice “one thing at a time” is actually just what I need to hear right now.

Did you get my email about the video by the wY?

        • Hi Ben

Sure did – I’m prioritizing email, too, at the moment. I will get back to you on it this week, promise.

Buddy – slow down. Take a big, deep breath and then decide which of the two projects youre working on (that are unrelated to your ‘job’) is the most important to you, and then go for it.

          All the best,
          Chris

          • Thanks Chris. Going to sit down tonight and work out a plan of action.

Glad you got it, didn’t know whether it had been lost in the ether!

  2. B-Roll baby! Love it.

    • Hey Man!

Thought that might get a reaction from you. And genuinely, no BS – my wife shot it as she walked over to join me. I had no idea she was doing it – thats when that type of stuff fits best, I think.

Hope all is good in Manila.

      Chris

  3. I carry a notebook with me too…when I get random ideas I jot them down. Never can go wrong with a piece of paper and pen.

    • Sometimes its best to go back to basics…

Plus, you just cant ‘draw’, or sketch out ideas any other way, as far as I’m concerned.

      Thanks for swinging by, buddy!

      Chris

  4. I watch all of your videos.

    Started to love your thoughts.

    Thanks/-

  5. Hi Chris, always closer to the top! Your videos keep me motivating! What I find truly exciting is that you are still on your way.. Most blog show only the final destination but you instead lead step by step the way. Go on and keep rocking. Rgds Valerio

    • Valerio

Thanks for dropping by, my man!

That was the WHOLE POINT for this blog. To show the journey. And then next year, I can show you what I am going to be doing as a Virtual CEO and (hopefully) everything else I will be achieving – not just business, but LIFE, too.

      Keep watching!

      Chris

  6. Hi Chris. Keep sharing “the way to the top”. Best rgds. Valerio

  7. haha love that intro man,

but the video is too short. I luv vids that are concise, but you are taking it to the next level ;)

cool shades, now you need to wear the right jacket ;)

    • Hi Mars

Hahaha. I like that. I simply just wanted to bring this series to the essentials. Not waffle one at all. There really are three main reasons to me wanting to become a Virtual CEO. You’ve discovered the first two already. The question is… Can you guess the last one?

If not, you’ll find out tomorrow…!

      Thanks for the comment.

      Chris

  8. I have way too many ideas myself and it is tough to act on all of them. I have one specifically in the spa niche that I really want to act on before the end of this year because it is one of those “million dollar” ideas, at least I believe it is! Won’t know unless I try huh?
