Announcing the New, FREE Virtual Business Lifestyle Monthly Webinar!
Location: Home Office – Reading Time: 5mins
Last week I put on a very, very impromptu free webinar on the subject of outsourcing life and all that goes with it. Giving everyone only about an hour-or-so notice, I was pleasantly surprised with the turn-out, extremely happy with the overall ‘vibe’ of the community and blown away by the sheer quality of the questions! If you like, you can watch the recorded video and read the Q&A transcription (Note: I’m providing this for ‘everyone’ this time, on the next one it will be sent directly via email to my mailing list only… Sign up to the right, or at the bottom of this post).
The day following the webinar, I received a load of emails from people saying that it was great, tons of tweets from people saying they were gutted they had missed it, and general encouragement for another one to be put together. So, I’ve decided to do it again – and make it a regular thing, as I had a great time interacting ‘virtually’ with you guys that did attend. And I need you guys to tell me when I should do these every month, so we can maximize the number of participants.
Simply click your preferred time below and hit ‘vote’ at the top of this post.
I’ll run this poll for the next couple of weeks and then announce the time for the webinar’s going forward. The format is going to be roughly the same on every one, basically a short 5-10min intro on the current topic and then I want to open up the floor to you guys, to get the conversation flowing properly.
Not only this, but you guys will always know what YOU want to talk about a lot more than I ever will… Regardless of how many polls and questions I ask people! Topic ‘heat’ changes so quickly nowadays, although one thing was VERY apparent on this first webinar. You had a lot of questions about Virtual Assistants and how to work with them, so I am going to kick things off with the next webinar on the subject of:
“How to Work with Virtual Assistants”
Once everything is confirmed, time and date wise, I will be sending out an email to everyone reminding them of the time slot, etc. If you are not on my mailing list you should sign up below, now. You’ll get a copy of my free eBook, as well as regular updates from me on everything virtual business related. I promise not to irritate you, spam you or sell/give away your details EVER! You can trust me, I used to be a scout…!!!
As always, thank you for the support here at the blog, and for everything else that I do in the name of creating a lifestyle you’ll love to live. I really do appreciate it. Look forward to your comments below, too!

By the end of 2010, I want to be a Full-Time Virtual CEO. Take the journey with me, month-by-month to find out how I'm going to do it! I’m a 19-year sales, marketing and PR professional originally from the UK and an entrepreneur at heart. I’m also the CEO of the Live2Sell Group of Companies, a thriving total business outsourcing provider based in Cebu City, Philippines.
Chris, I enjoyed the first webinar although I watched the recorded version. Sorry I missed it live. I’m looking forward to the monthly starting. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Cynthia
Will be great to have you involved in the next one. Thanks for the comment.
Talk soon!!!
Chris
Chris
I will definitely be there, thank you for helping us guys out by doing this sort of stuff.
It’s really appreciated, as I am sure you know but the work you’re putting together is very inspiring.
Thanks again.
Sam
Hi Sam
Thanks for the encourage, buddy.
I look forward to continue to provide great content to help ALL OF US to create and enable our own perfect lifestyles. Thats the great thing about lifestyle design – everyone wants different things.
We can ALL learn from each other.
Thanks again for the comment, man.
Chris
Hey Chris,
Just letting you know the PDF document opens but it shows the text in white. You might want to redo the transcript and change the text into black so people can read it.
Cheers!
Hey Tyrone!
Actually, I had that problem, too.
But, my IT guy looked at it. Its a Mac thing (believe it or not). Try installing the latest version of Adobe Reader and making it your default viewer for PDF documents.
Works like a dream after that!
Lets chat next week.
Have a killer weekend, mate.
Chris
Love The post U Know What Your Talking About thanks Cris
Hi Brian
Thanks, bud.
Appreciated you taking time to check it out…
Chris
@Chris, what tool or plugin did you use for the poll? I like the fact that it is dynamic and shows the results live on the blog post
Hi Owen
Its called “WP-Polls”. Yeah, its kind of cool, isnt it!
Thanks for dropping by.
Chris
@Chris, yes the polling tool is cool. I guess its a great way to get interaction back from your blog audience.
I ask Pat Flynn this same question and since you are working on webinars too I like to get your input.

I am thinking of making use of webinars for my virtual assistant blog. I am in the process of creating the webinar and I was thinking of setting up a biweekly webinar.
How many times in a month do you plan on having your webinars and at what time of the day do you plan to conduct them?
Secondly is it better to only let your email subscribers know about the webinar or blog about each webinar? Since my webinar for now will be on the same topic will it be appropriate to blog about it everytime?
Whats your take on this?
thanks

Webinars are either liked and enjoyed, or flop, from what I can tell. I enjoyed the interaction I experienced when I did this one, and so have decided to set one up on a monthly basis.
FACT: If the first one is a complete flop, I wont continue. If they end up getting less and less people each time, I wont continue – waste of time.
I will be announcing the webinars only to my mailing list, and through Facebook and Twitter. Nothing will go on the blog, accept for perhaps the odd link in relevant articles, etc.
Thanks again for the input!
Chris
@Chris, I really think webinars are the way to go especially for B2B companies like us.
I did some additional research and saw that Hubspot does a lot of webinars – actually they do theirs weekly and they also have a live show every week too.
What I noticed with them is that they do not have that much text on their website home page (I guess to drive folks to their most important links), one of the links they have on their home page is a link to their upcoming webinars.
On the very top of their blog, they have a horizontal banner that links people to their upcoming webinar page. Also on each blog post, they have that same banner at the very bottom.
I assume that they also send out an email to their mailing list a couple of days before a webinar.
I checked their Twitter and Facebook stream and noticed that they also announce the webinars on there too.
They mostly use gotomeeting for their webinars.
I hope this helps others who might what to conduct webinars.
Now I have to figure out if I should schedule my webinars weekly or biweekly. What do yall think?
