An Inside Look at a Philippines Outsourcing Call Center!

Location: Company HQ – Reading / Viewing Time: 3mins

Just a quick post today, guys – but, a real goodie! Earlier on this evening I was down on one of the three floors my company occupies here in the building, taking a few snapshots for a client. When I was there, I thought I would shoot a quick video clip, introduce you to one of my excellent members of staff, who is one of our Campaign Manager’s, and generally give you a little ‘inside look’ of life inside a Philippines call center.

As you can see, its a buzzing environment with great people doing great things for great clients, day in, day out. One thing I would like to point out is Chris’ (the other bald guy!) Americanized accent. Listen to how he says the word ‘staff’. Very cool…!

This particular crew of employees make up around a third or so of our complete staff.

I’ve said before, I’m a Businessman First, a Blogger Second – and above and beyond everything I do as a blogger and entrepreneur, this is where I make my money. Plain and simple. I work with awesome clients, entrepreneurs themselves, that want to utilize outsourcing for the cost-saving and growth-enhancing properties it brings to their businesses.

And I love doing what I do!

This is the way we do outsourcing for our clients… I hope you enjoy the quick tour, and if you’d like to know more let me know below in the comments section, and perhaps I’ll do something a little more in-depth for you next time. Any questions? Sure, feel free to post them, too.

  1. Very cool, Chris. It’s awesome that you’re actually giving us a sneak peak inside your business, and it looks like you have a smooth operation running.

    • Thanks, Eric.

There’s a LOT more to come, trust me.

Its a work in progress, like any company growing – but, the bottom line is that we continue to work hard every day. All of us. And that means SUCCESS.

      Plain and simple.

Thanks for the comment on the post – its much appreciated.

      All the best,
      Chris

  2. Great video Chris.

This is a great insight into the business and the tremendous growth of your operation.

I do think it’s inspired. I had not appreciated the level of English spoken without accent.

You wouldn’t know you were dealing with an overseas call centre.

    • Hi Matthew

Thanks for the kind words, mate.

Chris (the other good looking baldie in the clip) is a good asset and does a great job for us. The entire team works hard – thats where the growth comes from.

I wish I could say it was all down to me – but, I would be very, very wrong.

      Regards,
      Chris

    Hey Chris,

You got a copy of yourself? Wow I’m going have to consider shaving all my hair off too.

Great stuff mate, it’s a real inspiration to see all that happening behind you and also love the new cool intro for your video.

    • Hi Tyrone

Thanks, man. I’m lucky to be surrounded by a lot of very talented people! :-)

Yep – if you wanna hang with the ‘kool kats’ you gotta shave your head, mate…! lol

Thanks for the comment and support, as always.

      Chris

  4. Anna Haller says:

Buzzing indeed! Thanks for giving us a sneak peak into your business. You have had fantastic growth from 5 to 80, that’s awesome!

    What a great team!

    Anna

    • Hi Anna

Thank you for the comment. Yes, we’ve been lucky to have awesome clients and to have built great relationships with them. However, this is just one third of the full Live2Sell Family, as I mentioned in the text below the video…

Thanks again for dropping by. It’s nice to see you here, as always.

      Best,
      Chris

  5. Justin Dupre says:

    Chris,

Excellent post and video. I gotta give it to you to be able to get this all down and continuing to grow in a remarkable rate. I’ll definitely stay tune to hear more of your success and experience. How often do you go down to the call center? Thanks for sharing with us!

    • Hi Justin

I’m currently in the building 4 days a week (I dont work Fridays anymore) – although my office is on the top floor of the building now. SO, I’m down there probably 2-3 times a week for one reason or another. I always enjoy working closely with the staff – but you mention GROWTH – and because of that desire, have to focus on the sales and marketing of our services, along with working closely with our clients, obviously.

I appreciate this, your first comment and hope they’ll be plenty more from you in the future.

      Kind regards,
      Chris

PS. I’ve been to your blog a few times and find it a great overall resource. Keep up the great work, bud.

  6. Jack says:

It just shows how well educated the workforce is in the Philippines. They are also very hard workers, just like the Chinese.

    • Indeed, Jack.

The Chinese outsourcing workers are also very hard working. Although the Philippines is the destination of choice for voice campaigns, it seems that China is starting to play a slightly bigger part in the overall outsourcing horizon.

      Thanks for the comment, bud.

      Chris

  7. Ben says:

    Chris that’s so cool.

What a feeling to walk into a floor like that and be able to feel “I played a part in that”

    • Hi Ben

That’s exactly the feeling I have every day. Don’t get me wrong having that many people working for you does not come along overnight, nor without a few headaches – but, seeing it grow the way that it has is awesome.

When you end up coming over to the Philippines, you’ll have to visit – maybe we’ll get you to take a few live calls, too! After you give a motivational speech, obviously…!!!

      Cheers,
      Chris

  8. Neil says:

This is really interesting to see. I have in the past hired virtual staff, that too in the Phillipines working from a virtual office. It didnt really work out for me but this is quite inspiring. If you have the right management & skilled force, you get happy clients.

    • Hi Neil

Happy clients CAN be found and kept happy. But, you have to work hard – like anything else in life – you get out of it, what you put into it.

When you worked with your virtual staff here in the Philippines, what exactly happened? Why didnt it work out…? Not prying, just curious to know.

I appreciate you commenting on the blog.

      Best,
      Chris

      • Neil says:

I completely agree with the hard work bit. I think it was one of my first outsourced jobs so probably not very good management skills by me. :)

        • Hi Neil

Dont beat yourself up too much, bud! Everyone ‘struggles’ a little at first. If you haven’t already done so, download my free eBook , it will help a little.

Whatever you do, dont give up on outsourcing. It is the backbone of the Virtual Business Lifestyle concept (which is why we talk about it so much here), and is a GREAT way to grow your business, with little investment and minimal time required.

Like anything else, if you put some hard work into it, you’ll get great results.

          Stay tuned, my man!

          Chris

  9. Sam Wilson says:

    Hi Chris

This is awesome man. There are many businessman that would not give this kind of stuff away. I mean showing their operation like this.

I can only imagine that your industry is very competitive. Are you not worried about your competitors watching this video?

I thoroughly enjoyed it though. Very interesting and a great place you have got there.

    Sam

    • Hi Sam

Showing off what I have achieved doesnt bother me at all. I know for a FACT that several of my ‘competitors’ (and I use the term loosely) have even downloaded my eBook! Good, some of them need the help, trust me!! :-)

Dont get me wrong, I’m hardly going to be giving away contact details of clients, or copies of my bank statements. But, the whole reason I started this blog was to be as REAL as possible. Hence all my Monthly Reports.

I appreciate the fact that you’ve commented like this. Seriously. And I am very happy that you thought the clip was a cool one.

      Thanks again, Sam.

      Chris

  10. Martin says:

With the growth of the company, and with how the people seem to be so happy about it, I can say you’re doing a pretty good job about it! Cool! Makes me want to go to your office and experience it for myself. Keep it up!

  11. Tony Ruiz says:

Suh-weet Chris! Thanks for giving us a peak. Its great to see your business thriving.

    • Hi Tony

Thanks, buddy. Its still a work in progress, just like ANY business should be. We dont rest on our laurels, and as I’ve said in a few comments here, its a team effort, with everyone pulling their weight.

Thanks for dropping by and glad you liked the video.

      Chris

  12. Howie says:

Oh, boy….I’ve been slacking a bit on the comments here, Chris. I really appreciate, like many others have said, the inside look and sneak peak into everything.

Keep up the good work with your blog, man….I thoroughly enjoy. I was near internet-less for the last few weeks because of some U.S. Army training I had to do….but, I should be able to comment more regularly now. :)

    • Hi Howie

Welcome back to the blog – yes, I have been ‘very upset’ that youve not been around… You’ve missed tons of cool stuff, bud.

Glad your training went well, and I tip my hat o you for wanting to devote your time to your country.

We all definitely look forward to seeing you around a little more often, now youre ‘back’ in the land of the living…!!! ;-)

      Cheers,
      Chris

  13. Watching this video reminded me of my days working in a call centre in West Wales. It was as noisy as your place but certainly a lot less cheerful! You’re clearly a lot more fun to work with than the people in charge of the operation I was working for ;)

    • Lol.

      I try my best, Eleanor.

We are a Family. That’s the way I started the company and that the way we’ve built it up.

And I must say it makes me very proud to see my guys working so hard everyday, and having lots of FUN doing it!

Thanks for the comment and dropping by – its lovely to have you around.

      Best,
      Chris
