Hello everyone, and welcome to the first ever post here at VirtualBusinessLifestyle.com! This new blog will have more video posts, however, as its the first post, I figured a few words wouldn’t go amiss.
As I mention in the video above, the main reason why I have put this new site together is to be able to follow on from, and build upon the type of posts that I received some great feedback to over at my personal blog. It seemed that I got all the best feedback, comments and RT’s on the stuff I put up regarding outsourcing, being a virtual business owner and building a lifestyle that amounted to less time in the office, yet still allowed a business to be profitable and have the ability to continue to grow.
Going forward, I thought a quick list of things mentioned in each video would be a good idea (along with any links, etc). So for this first post, where I discuss the plans for the blog as well as announcing my own personal goal for 2010 – it’s a biggie – here’s your re-cap and I truly hope to get some feedback from you as to the type of stuff you’ll be wanting to experience through the site, as well as the stuff you think I should stay away from! I look forward to your comments.

Great intro post Chris. Wanted to say the site looks nice and I am looking forward to seeing more on outsourcing and creating a business that can survive on outsourcing while still having direct ties to the business.
Best of luck on the site launch.
@Greg – our first comment, and from someone that I have been following myself, for a while via his OWN blog! Thanks for commenting, buddy – much appreciated, and if you could spare a RT to help us out in spreading the word, that would be awesome!
Enjoyed the first post Chris. I have so many ideas and activities that I’m involved in and streamlining and outsourcing is definately a future goal. In the short term nailing down a fixed set of processes for all of my activities is top of my list.
I did a bit of this in 2009 but as my online activities in internet marketing increase, being more organised in 2010 is very important to me.
You can follow me here on twitter @blogandlearn
I look forward to chatting with you some more Chris.
@Robert – Thanks for the kind words, and those, also, of inspiration for ALL of us. As someone who is surrounded by outsourcing everyday, I get to see EXACTLY what it does to peoples lives, businesses and bottom lines. If I can help in anyway is helping your online efforts become more streamlined, please do let me know! Again, thanks for the comment.
Great blog, awesome post! This site is going to rock I can tell…
Cheers
@Maren – Thanks for the nice words. Rock n ROLL, too, I should hope!
Looking forward to seeing your continued feedback, as it is appreciated and enjoyed.
Very good intro Chris! It will be very exciting to see this transition. 2010 will be indeed a very good year, as we put all the processes in place.
“Careful, someone will take away your Italian chair”
@Mark – You mean the Chinese imitation Italian chair! Thanks for the comment, and yes – it will be an awesome year.
@Everyone – In regards to the private joke, of Mark taking my chair, he is my Head of Operations at Live2Sell…!
Hi Chris,
Very nice first post!
Hang on to your Chitalian chair cause it will be on hell of a ride.
Cheers!
@Rod – I am in LOVE with that new word you’ve created… Chitalian… Awesome!!! It will be used on a daily basis, I assure you. Thanks for commenting, highly appreciated – hope youre on board for the ‘ride’, too, buddy.
Regards from the Philippines! Chris
Hi Chris,
I’m so happy that I’ve found your blog (specifically I found you on twitter first but that doesn’t matter). I’m 25 years old and I visited Australia last year because I’ve done my study-abroad-semester down there. I realised that there the world has a lot more to offer as just sitting at home or working on a normal basis. I’ve read a lot (ex. Tim Ferriss’ book as well) but I’m also happy that you’re are a little more concisely about that stuff in your blog.
I just started reading the blog and I’m supporting you to be a virtual CEO after this year. I hope that I can learn a lot from you and your virtual business lifestyle
Greetings from the Bavarian (Germany)
Florian
Hi Florian
It’s great to have you here on the blog, and I am happy you stumbled over it and are finding it so useful.
The conciseness comes from general frustration that even I, personally, was feeling when wanting to look at more information on specific subjects online. The four main aspects of the VBL are my personal interpretation on whats required to ultimately ‘get there’. I hope that I do.
Thanks also for the kind words on the Virtual CEO goal. Stay tuned for regular updates!
Thanks again,
Chris
